Spending all your time alone, thinking about your next meal? Soon you'll be able to do that at home and in-game, as desert island sandbox The Survivalists is releasing on 9th October.
Made by Team17 as part of The Escapists universe, The Survivalists transports players to a procedurally-generated island where you'll have to gather resources and craft to survive. Handily, you can also enlist monkeys to help with these chores. Along with single-player it features online co-op, allowing you and three other friends to avoid getting scurvy together.
If you want to dip a toe in before buying, you can try the demo on both Steam and Nintendo Switch, while the full game is set to launch on PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One - with an Apple Arcade launch "coming soon".
