The Xbox Store is currently holding a Ubisoft Publisher Sale that offers discounts of up to 75% off on some of Ubisoft's biggest franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. Luckily for players, the sale will run through the week, giving them plenty of time to browse through the sale and maybe pick up a game or two.

Headlining the Xbox Store's Ubisoft Publisher Sale is Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which is the latest installment to the longtime historical fiction series. The game is available for $14.99, which is a whopping 75% off its original price of $59.99. To the uninitiated, Assassin's Creed Odyssey revolves around a fictional account of the Peloponnesian War back in 431 BC. Shortly after its release, the game received mostly positive reviews from players and critics due to its immersive story and flawless execution of an open-world environment.

Of course, players who still haven't played Assassin's Creed Odyssey should take advantage of this deal now while it is still available, especially since Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the upcoming next-installment to the franchise, is set to release on November 17th. The upcoming game will revolve around the Viking expansion across Europe set in 873 AD.

Another notable game that is worth picking up right now is Far Cry 5 + Far Cry New Dawn Deluxe Edition Bundle. The game is currently available at the Xbox Store for $29.99, which is 70% off its original price of $99.99. As the name implies, this special edition combines Far Cry 5 with its narrative sequel called Far Cry New Dawn, which takes players to the vibrant post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana 17 years after a global nuclear catastrophe. As for what's next in the Far Cry franchise, Ubisoft officially announced Far Cry 6 at the Ubisoft Forward presentation last July, which is set to release on February 18, 2021.

Now, players who are interested in a tactical online shooter game should consider purchasing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which was released in July of last year. The game is currently priced at $19.79 or $67% off its original price of $59.99, making it the lowest price ever for the game. Several months ago, Ubisoft released a free update for the game, which introduced AI teammates. When Ghost Recon Breakpoint was first released, players were unhappy that some areas are locked off for solo players, and the only teammates that they were allowed to take are other players via multiplayer. Luckily for fans, the addition of AI teammates finally allowed players to access these areas and experience the world by themselves.
