While some have criticized those involved in the production of The Last of Us 2, it's hard to deny the wholesomeness of a recent moment shared on YouTube. When Cascina Caradonna, the face model for the character Dina in the game, came across her likeness in the opening of the story, she became very emotional in front of her viewers.

Several characters in The Last of Us 2 have received a not so positive reaction from the fanbase, which expanded out to impact those involved with their creation. Laura Bailey, the voice actor behind Abby, even received several threats due to her work with the controversial character. However, Dina's character received a much warmer reception than most, and the toxic feelings may be associated with this game don't interfere in this heartwarming moment.

Caradonna has started playing through The Last of Us 2 and uploaded videos of her adventure to her YouTube channel. When she first came across her likeness in the first half of the video, she became so emotional that she had to pause the video in order to process seeing Dina. At the sight of her own face in the game, she began to cry in shock and excitement. She told her audience that she was surprised at her own reaction. While she's done modeling work before, Caradonna told her viewers that this was the first time ever seeing her face "on TV."

Caradonna also said that she had seen the trailer before playing the game and thought her reaction to Dina would be more casual than it ended being. However, she said that it felt very "jarring" to see Dina. When Dina began flirting with Ellie, Caradonna burst into laughter and paused the game again.

Her shock wears off, and instead, she is taken by the character's sassy nature. When the snowball fight begins, Caradonna is caught off guard but quickly gets back into the gameplay, chasing the little kids down with a vengeance. Even as Ellie and Dina moved on to the stables, Caradonna was taking in Dina's running style and comparing herself to the character.

Dina has been a big part of The Last of Us 2's fanbase, and many praise Naughty Dog for its portrayal of the Jewish community in her character. This video has only made the character even more endearing. From the video that Caradonna put on YouTube, it also seems that she is not spoiled for the plot of the game, so it may be interesting to see her opinion of the story as she gets farther into the game.

The Last of Us 2 is available now for PS4.
