In a slew of news in the past few days, New World isn’t slowing down. System requirements and more were shared in an FAQ.
If you’re unfamiliar with the system requirements, here’s what you’ll need:
- OS: Windows® 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 390X or better
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 35 GB available spaceAdditional Notes: Internet connection required to play, offers in-game purchases
The FAQ also touches on what players can do if they encounter issues such as boot-up issues, graphical issues, latency, and more. For example, if you’re encountering a graphical issue, the team suggests running a Steam Integrity Check on your installed game.
If you missed it, details were revealed earlier regarding the preview hitting next week on August 25. The preview is set to begin at 9a PT and will end on September 5. There is no NDA so feel free to share to heart’s content. There should be servers worldwide located in NA East, NA West, Europe, Asia Pacific and South America.
