Rogue Company Gets The Vice Update

Cross-platform multiplayer shooter, Rogue Company is going to the sunny side of Miami as The Vice brings a brand new set of updates to players.

Released into Early Access just back in July 2020 with some seriously slick promotion, Hi-Rez’s multiplayer hero shooter Rogue Company has just unveiled its latest addition to the action. Players of the action-packed adventure can pick a character and go blow up the East coast as The Vice update lands in Rogue Company. Players across Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, Rogue Company’s latest update adds a brand new map, and of course, it’s based in Miami. Illuminated with neon lighting and pulsing to the buzz of EDM dance halls, this Zero Drop Rave is the place to be in these hectic times.

In addition to a brand new map, Early Access is also getting some more fundamental updates. Rogue Company will now include an AFK / Deserter penalty, meaning players who decide they don’t play well with others will face the following :

  • Left Match Early – A player who leaves a full party (not through disconnection)
  • AFK – A player who has met our inactivity criteria (hasn’t taken a valid action) for approximately 2 minutes.
  • Disconnected – A player who has disconnected for at least 5 minutes before the match ends.

In addition to the AFK penalty, the latest update includes a bunch of brand new balancing changes and bug fixes. Players with a left-handed persuasion will be glad to hear that new KBM bindings are coming into play for the left-handed, new color options should help with overall accessibility, and the team behind this shooter has tweaked the perk system to add an undo for all purchases.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Although, that doesn’t seem like a fitting analogy for Miami. Either way, you can check out the latest patch notes or grab it on Nintendo Switch, PC, Playstation 4, or Xbox One by heading over to the official website now.
