Victory in Call of Duty: Warzone is dependant upon luck, skill, and gear. Although luck is outside of player control, and skill is up to the player's commitment, the only thing that Warzone players can rely on fixing quickly is their gear.
There are several Warzone communities that believe in running an LMG as a primary, but some may not know which attachments should be on those weapons during Season 5. This quick and easy loadout has the best possible attachments for the PKM when it comes to gearing up for the next Warzone drop.
A large part of succeeding in any fight in Warzone is understanding each gun's strengths and weaknesses. By understanding the capabilities of a primary weapon, each player can determine the right range and leading time for every shot. This becomes vital when understanding LMGs, as they usually pack high damage, medium firing speeds, and low reloading and ADS times. The best attachments for any gun is the attachments that compensate for the weapon's weaknesses and play on its strengths.
PKM Loadout
Muzzle - Monolithic Suppressor
Sight - VLK 3.0x Optic
Ammo - 150 Round Belt
Stock - Forge TAC Stalker
Perk - Full Metal Jacket
Starting from the top, the Monolithic Suppressor is a fan favorite attachment for almost any loadout in Warzone. Along with hiding a player's firing position, the attachment aids in range and stability on a minor level. Using this attachment, players can supplement their weapons' damage by getting closer to the intended target. Pairing this with the VLK 3.0x Optic helps play towards the PKM's strengths in medium and long-range engagements. By supplementing accuracy, the VLK 3.0x Optic gives a zoomed-in view of the target to help in those longer-range fights.
There is not much fans can do to solve the slow reload time that comes naturally with LMGs. The best bet is to take the 150 Round Belt and avoid reloading in most combat scenarios. Simply bring extra ammunition, then reload in those brief moments where it is safe to do so. Remember to reload cancel if interrupted, and always have enough reserve ammo prepared for surprise fights.
Finishing off this loadout, players should run FMJ to allow quick destruction of vehicles in Warzone and the Forge TAC Stalker Stock to increase accuracy and steady ADS handling. By supplementing what the PKM already does really well, players will be one step closer to winning that round.
