More quarterly financial reports are rolling in, this time from Nintendo and Nexon, and both studios are crowing about exceptional runs.

For the big N, it’s all about the runaway success of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. During the quarter, the cheery online title moved 10.6 million units. This greatly helped Nintendo achieve $3.4 billion in net sales during this period. The company said that demand for New Horizons has been “so much higher than our forecasts that the global supply has been unable to keep up since release.” We guess that’s a good problem to have.

Nintendo also said that it has sold 61.4 million Switches and Switch Lites since the console debuted in 2017.

Over at online game publisher Nexon, it was “the best Q2 in company history,” with revenues up 20% year-over-year. The big games driving these sales were KartRider Rush+, MapleStory, and Dungeon & Fighter.

Nexon said that it anticipates even more growth later this year when it gets MapleStory M and Mobile Dungeon & Fighter into the hands of eager gamers. The latter title already has 60 million pre-registrations in China and will roll out in that country on August 12th. The company also talked up V4’s upcoming Japanese launch.
