Raids in Destiny 2 are the pinnacle of gameplay for a huge section of the community, and finding ways to complete these challenges with new limitations and smaller parties has become a measuring stick for high-level players. This has been such a staple since the very first game that beating these events with fewer and fewer players, or even soloing, has become a triumph in Destiny.

Now, a streamer on Twitch who goes by the name Tonuu has recently found a trick that allows the raid from Destiny 2's Forsaken expansion, The Last Wish, to be more easily taken on. As a result, the player was able to easily access the end of the raid, and with one other player, skip straight to The Last Wish's final boss, Riven for a flawless run.

While defeating Riven is still no small feat for a majority of players, there are tactics to use to finish the boss off fairly easily, which is something players have recently been utilizing to farm Destiny 2's raids for high-level loot. However, that still means that players have to make it through the rest of The Last Wish in order to get to Riven, which is where Tonuu's trick comes in, utilizing the Wall of Wishes to skip straight to the end. Unfortunately, if players like Tonuu are looking to get finish a Flawless Raid, completing the activity without dying, then the Wall of Wishes isn't usually a viable option, since it wipes all players present in order to warp them forward.

To get around this warp-wipe, Tonuu uses a trick that fans familiar with the Crota's End raid from the original Destiny might recognize. Specifically, the trick involves activating the Wall of Wishes to warp to the Riven fight solo, inviting a second player as the warp begins, then the original player disconnects. The result lets the second player load in at the Riven checkpoint without dying and the original player should be gone before the wipe happens, allowing both players to load back in, with zero deaths on record and allowing players to skip through one of Destiny 2's toughest activities.

Of course, while this might be a quick way to skip through a huge amount of the raid quickly, beating Riven is still going to require careful coordination between players and the use of some of the best weapons in Destiny 2. Still, for players looking to finish Flawless Solo Raids or runs with fewer players, this may be a sure way to get through one of those coveted challenges.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
