Along with the recent look at Solstice of Heroes in the latest This Week at Bungie blog post, Bungie also shared an incredible video made for the eSports team G1. With Destiny 2's Crucible still looking to break out into eSports to the level of League of Legends and Overwatch, showing off what pro players are capable of in tournament play is an excellent way to show off how exciting the game can be to watch.

Working together with freelance video editor Neenkin, @Neenkin on Twitter, and Destiny 2 fan animator Drexis, @Drexis_Anim on Twitter, the clan G1 published the video on the clan's YouTube channel, Gamers First. This is actually the first video added to G1's official channel to show the clan's Destiny 2 PvP skills, which are often on display on Twitch or during tournaments.

The video itself is a montage of some of the most impressive highlights from G1's tenure as a pro PvP clan, looking at a number of individual moments in which the players that make up the clan land incredible kills. Some of the best shots shown in the new video involve some pro-level use of Destiny 2's snipers, wiping out entire teams with a quick flurry of headshots that instantly drops each enemy. It really goes to show exactly how skillful pro-players can be in the Crucible, a fact that plenty of players who have jumped into the competitive and Trials modes might have been made painfully aware of.

Alongside clips from G1's own gameplay in the Crucible comes some fairly impressive animations made by the fan animator Drexis, some of which is integrated seamlessly into the player footage. This includes the introduction to the team as a whole, as well as the shots that begin each section focused on individual members, like Panduh and Potatoe. These animations combined with the gameplay footage make for an incredible showing of what viewers can expect to see the next time G1 enters an official Destiny 2 PvP tournament or for anyone who follows the clan on Twitch.

Some of the trickshots and feats pulled off in the video almost seem impossible, especially to console players used to the limitations of a controller. However, the quick aiming and rapid-fire headshots are just a testament to the skills and reaction speeds of these pro-players, as opposed to being a showing of cheating in Destiny 2. Watching this footage almost looks like test footage of an overcharged AI, but it is indeed just how good G1 is when they jump into the Crucible.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
