Fall Guys, the party game meets battle royale game, is an instant success. Not only has it received over a million downloads as part of its PlayStation Plus partnership, but its also stayed at the top of the Twitch viewership charts. At least, it does when its servers are up. Now it seems that other gaming brands want in on some of Fall Guys' success on social media. The latest and most wholesome example being Fall Guys' interaction with the CD Projekt Red accounts for both The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.

To set up the interaction, the Fall Guys social media manager is very proactive and is understandably excited about the game's launch and success. They're also very interested in continuing to build the game's community, as well as snag some publicity and prestige as they're able. Case in point, their month-long effort to get verified on Twitter. Many of their more recent efforts include trying to get other game studios to agree to do a Fall Guys crossover. Such is the case with Cyberpunk 2077.

Thursday morning the official Fall Guys Twitter account flagged the official Cyberpunk 2077 account, asking "how many retweets would we need to get for you to collab with us?" In a response that's certain to stir up fan excitement for both games, the Cyberpunk 2077 account replied with, "One." Hopefully, that means a Cyberpunk 2077-themed Fall Guys skin will be offered in the months to come.

However, the interaction didn't end there. The official account for The Witcher, perhaps envious of the attention Cyberpunk 2077 was receiving, also joined in on the fun. The Witcher's account replied to Fall Guys' tweet saying,  "LOL Cyberpunk. DM us for something more exciting." The two then exchanged follows and, presumably, moved into DMs to talk about their own collaboration.

Twitter interactions aren't promises, of course. As cool as it would be to get a DLC pack of Fall Guys costumes featuring The Witcher's Geralt and Ciri, plus Cyberpunk 2077's protagonist V and the Keanu Reaves character Johnny Silverhand, sometimes these things just don't work out. Of course, it very well could work out in the end, too. Fall Guys already has a premium DLC pack available with in-game cosmetics. More DLC packs are absolutely expected.

In fact, now that Fall Guys has publically talked about the possibility of collaborations, other interested parties are making their voices heard. Walmart Canada, of all social media accounts, messaged Fall Guys about a collaboration. It even featured a Fall Guy wearing a Walmart uniform. If Fall Guys wasn't already so wonderfully strange, fans may have only seen the start of it.

Fall Guys is available now on PC and PS4.
