Lord of the Rings Online community reschedules Weatherstock for September

In hindsight, Lord of the Rings Online’s greatest annual player concert series couldn’t have picked a worse time to try to host the event. Last month’s Weatherstock was originally going to rage all day on July 18th, but that’s about when the servers caught on fire and the game went mostly offline for great periods of time. So the event had to be cancelled until further notice.

Happily, it looks like the show will go on next month. The Ales and Tales community posted a notice saying, “We finally have the new date for Weatherstock 12! Mark your calendar on September 12th, 2020, and the band schedule remains the same! Let us hope that the server stays strong until then!”

For the game itself, Standing Stone Games reminded its community that this is the last month to claim a treasure trove’s worth of free zone quest packs by entering the code “LOTROFREEQUESTS” in the game’s store. This deal expires after the 31st of August.
