Jake Smullin, one of the developers from Respawn Entertainment and a software engineer at Apex Legends, shared a short TikTok video addressing the concerns of console players regarding the upcoming crossplay feature. In it, he stated the following:
“Wanted to clear something up about crossplay. You will only be in PC crossplay lobbies if you have a PC player on your team. Have seen lots of console players worrying about this but don’t. Everyone should be excited”.
There is currently no exact launch date for Apex Legends crossplay. Stay tuned to find out more as developers share additional information!
The game is also coming to Steam at a later date.
