Crystal Dynamic's Marvel's Avengers War Table presentations are live-streams hosted by the developer that show off numerous aspects of the game. The first showcase provides a little taste on nearly every aspect the game offers, such as story missions, co-op modes, and hero progression — which is a fancy way of saying "character customization."

So far, Crystal Dynamics has only hosted one War Tables live-stream for the Marvel's Avengers game, but it has another planned for the end of this month, specifically on July 29, 2020. Players can tune in to it by checking out Marvel's official YouTube channel or Crystal Dynamics Twitch channel at 10 a.m. PT that day.

The upcoming War Table Presentation will cover what players can expect from Marvel's Avengers upcoming beta, which also got announced alongside the War Table's presentation. What exactly the beta and War Table will cover remains a mystery, as Creative Director Shaun Escayg said fans will have to wait until the live-stream happens in two weeks for full details.

However, Escayg did say that the showcase will be similar to the first in that it will cover a little bit of everything that the game has to offer. So viewers should expect to see things like War Zones, along with the mentioned hero progression and story and co-op missions. Escayg also said viewers could expect to see the Marvel's Avengers Drop Zones mode, which hasn't had a showcase yet.

Crystal Dynamics' War Table streams were inspired by the flak it received for repeatedly showcasing gameplay from Marvel's Avengers A-day prologue back when it had first started the game's promotional cycle. So this upcoming War Table Stream will very likely reveal all-new content from the game's other modes to go along with the new Drop Zone reveal.

This upcoming War Table has a lot of different things it can draw from. For story missions, for instance, the first showcase only revealed a full story mission revolving around Thor. We've yet to see that for Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, or Kamala Khan.

According to Escayg, the beta will be meaty and will allow players to play "a piece of the original Avenger story campaign." "Piece" makes it sound like players will only have one story mission to choose from, especially since the beta will also allow players to test out all of the game's other mentioned features. However, Thor's full mission was less than 10 minutes in length, so more than one character mission will likely be available in the beta.

Marvel's Avengers releases on September 4 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are also in development.
