Pokemon GO's Go Fest continues with special challenges and rewards. The tasks available recently are all themed around recent additions to Pokemon GO's Team GO Rocket. One of these additions of course is the arrival of Jessie and James.

Due to the challenges focusing on Team Rocket, players will have to either locate Team Rocket's hot air balloons or look for Poke Stops that are occupied by Team Rocket.

This part of the event in Pokemon GO will be running from July 10th, 2020 at 8:00 am to July 15, 2020 at 10:00 pm in players' local times.

During this event, players can use TMs to get rid of the move Frustration, more Team Rocket Balloons spawn, more Poke Stops are taken over by Team Rocket, and players get 2x more stardust for defeating Rocket Grunts and Balloons. The spawns of both dark and poison-type Pokemon are also boosted. 5 km eggs will also prioritize hatching Absol, Meowth, Purrloin, and Skorupi.

The following challenge timed research tasks are available at stage 1 of the event's challenges:

• Power up a Pokemon - Gives 100 Stardust
• Evolve a Pokemon - Gives 1 Rare Candy
• Defeat a Team GO Rocket Grunt - Gives 2 Hyper Potions
• Completing all stage 1 tasks - Gives 100 XP, 5 Revives, and 5 Hyper Potions

The following challenge timed research tasks are available at stage 2 of the event's challenges:

• Purify 2 Shadow Pokemon - Gives 2 Max Revives
• Power up Pokemon 2 times - Gives 200 Stardust
• Defeat 2 Team GO Rocket Grunts - Gives 2 Max Potions
• Completing all stage 2 tasks - Gives 3 Max Potions, Hitmonlee, 3 Max Revives

The following challenge timed research tasks are available at stage 3 of the event's challenges:

• Purify 3 Shadow Pokemon - Gives 3 Max Revives
• Power up Pokemon 3 times - Gives 500 Stardust
• Defeat 3 Team GO Rocket Grunts - Gives 3 Max Potions
• Completing all stage 2 tasks - Gives 1 Rare Candy, Absol, Super Rocket Radar

The following challenge timed research tasks are the Elite Challenges:

• Defeat 15 Team GO Rocket Grunts - Gives 5 Super Potions
• Defeat 5 Team GO Rocket Leaders - Gives 5 Hyper Potions
• Defeat the Team GO Rocket Boss - Gives 5 Max Potions
• Completing all Elite Challenges - Gives 500 XP, 500 Stardust, 5 Razz Berries
