In a more wholesome turn of events, one Red Dead Redemption 2 player found solidarity with a particular sheep.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is praised for its emphasis on story, open-world exploration, character interactions, and attention to detail, exceeding the lifetime sales of the original Red Dead Redemption in just two weeks. Now, one player thinks they have created new memories with one of the game's sheep, which they have decided to name Marvin.

Many players continuously get into trouble with the law during their playthroughs, as any decent cowboy of substance should. Although living a life of crime can be dangerous, it isn't one that anybody should live by themselves. One Reddit user by the name of "TheBrogDaddy92" used a particular sheep pen in order to avoid being caught by the police and thinks they may have found an ally in the process.

Brog has used this specific pen multiple times, and after a while, they noticed that while all the other sheep would go crazy and run away from him, one particular sheep would always be comfortable by his presence and stay right by Arthur's side. Some players seem to be skeptical and claim that this is just a glitch. However, Brog has tested this and proved this is a reoccurring event that has happened even on Brog's 5th playthrough of the game.

Due to this consistent occurrence, Brog decided to name the sheep Marvin, even though there is not an apparent reason as to why Brog chose the name. As players anxiously wait for future updates to Red Dead Redemption, perhaps they can try this out and see if they can replicate befriending an animal creature of their own.

What Brog was running away from only brought him closer to happiness. Brog now visits Marvin weekly to catch up with him and solidifies his commitment to the ultimate friendship. Brog's and Marvin's relationship only proves that it is always possible to find memorable moments in any game; it is up to the player to explore every possible aspect a game has to offer. Arthur's relationship with Marvin will not only stand the test of time but deleted save files as well.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
