A recent Star Citizen Calling All Devs video looks at PvP and what the future of PvP gameplay holds for the universe.
The video beings by describing two systems currently in development: Terra and Pyro. These will be the main PvE and PvP systems in the game. However, it should be noted that PvE doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll be relatively away from harm. This is because, like virtually everything in Star Citizen, Terra will be governed by rules. Breaking those rules has consequences.
You’ll be able to draw bounties on other players should you wish. From a rewards perspective, these should net you more. The team is developing a more robust inventory system to allow you to loot ships and corpses.
Testing for Theaters of War was touched on as well. If you missed it, there were a couple of tests which took place recently. The video didn’t announce a date for the next test, so we’ll have to wait and see.
