Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm Returns On Apple Arcade

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm is coming back to Apple Arcade with a brand new Golden Edition of this fantasy RPG.

If you’re in any doubt that the iPhone is capable gaming platform then take a quick look at the trailer for the shiny new updated release of Oceanborn 2, coming to Apple Arcade for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. Originally released for iOS back in 2019, Oceanhorn 2 is a 3D action PG and prequel to the acclaimed Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas. This new update for the gorgeous looking mobile title adds a whole cache of updates and improvements to the game.

New Adventures

The latest update to Oceanhorn 2 brings together the base game with two extra expansions for gamers. The Shield of Chronos, includes a new quest, a new dungeon as well as a shield that deflects projectiles. The second of these, The Criminal Hunt, adds a bunch of new side quests allowing players to hunt down a string of comically named bandits. Sir Stingalot and Baron Slimethorn have got no chance. Game enhancements mean that if you’ve got the power for it, you’ll be able to enjoy an optional 60fps mode, a stunning new physics-based water simulation, overhauled menus, improved gameplay communication, new spoken dialogue, and fresh music. To top it all off there are even extra narrative scenes in the games closing moments.

Oceanhorn 2 follows the adventures of a young Knight who sets out on a magical journey across vast regions of Gaia to defend the lands and people of Arcadia from Warlock Mesmeroth’s Dark Army. Like any good RPG, you’ll adventure with a team of warriors, taking down evil and finding friendship amidst a lovely Zelda inspired art style.
