The ManBearPig

One of the creepiest mysteries that players will find in Red Dead Redemption 2 is The ManBearPig, which is definitely a horrible sight to behold. The ManBearPig was created by a deranged individual that combined part of several animals, including arms, a hog's head, and the heart of a bear. Luckily for players, the creature is not alive but looking at it will surely induce nightmares. The mystery surrounding The ManBearPig lies with its creator, given that there is no information regarding their identity. There are also no quests that would reveal the creator of this abomination, and thus, The ManBearPig remains a mystery.

The Pagan Rituals

Somewhere near the settlement called Strawberry, players will find another mystery surrounding a strange site that contains odd symbols, rock formations, and a half corpse that wears a mask. Of course, gory sights such as this one is nothing new in Red Dead Redemption 2, but in this particular scenario, it appears that the area was once a site for a ritual sacrifice. At the moment, no one knows who is behind this strange ritual site, but bodies will eventually appear in various stages of decomposition. Players will have the chance to perform rituals themselves to get any sort of a reaction, but as of the moment, all attempts lead to nothing.

Princess Isabeau Kathrina Zinsmeister

Princess Isabeau Katharina Zinsmeister

Another well-known mystery that players will encounter in Red Dead Redemption 2 revolves around the disappearance of Princess Isabeau Katherina Zinsmeister of Luxembourg. Upon reaching Van Horn, players will encounter a missing person poster that details the disappearance of Isabeau with a reward for her return set at $100. Players would later find out that during the age of 5, Isabeau disappeared from a cabin and she has since been missing for 15 years. Initially, players will discover some pieces of evidence such as luggage bearing the Princess's initials and the royal seal of Luxembourg at the fence's shop in Van Horn. Apart from this, no other leads will surface, and players are left unsatisfied with the disappearance of Isabeau, especially with the thought of at least four serial killers roaming around the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Town of Limpany

Another mystery that remains unsolved in Red Dead Redemption 2 revolves around the town of Limpany. Upon reaching the middle of Flatneck Staton and the Dakota River, players will discover the burned-down town of Limpany. Upon further investigation, players will discover some barrels lying around, and these barrels are stamped with the brand of Cornwall Kerosene and Tar. Of course, players may come to the conclusion that the demise of Limpany was due to a bad deal that occurred between the town and Cornwall Kerosene and Tar. However, the game doesn't offer much to confirm these suspicions, leaving the fate of the once-bustling community, unsolved.

The Tiny Church

Somewhere in the bayou stands an abandoned church, complete with small pews and a tiny crucifix. Given the state of the church, it is clearly abandoned but players are left wondering who built the church, and who used it? Interestingly enough, if the player brings the vampire inside the church and lay it in the altar, the vampire will instantly die, suggesting that the church is indeed a holy place. However, the game doesn't offer any more information about this abandoned church, which adds to the long list of unsolved mysteries in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for the PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
