Just last week, the Xbox Store held a sale on some of the biggest action games right now, which included Borderlands 3's Super Deluxe Edition. Now, players who may have missed the sale would be happy to know that Walmart is currently offering Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition for cheaper for both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

Players can now purchase Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition for $39.99, which is 60% cheaper than its original list price of $99.99. It is also worth noting that Walmart's deal is $10 cheaper than what the Xbox Store offered last week, which is definitely good news for those who missed the deal or have waited for the price to go down further. To the uninitiated, the Super Deluxe Edition of Borderlands 3 includes the base game, the Season Pass that provides access to DLCs, and a wide plethora of cosmetic packs for players to try out.

When Borderlands 3 was released in 2019, the game soon became one of the biggest first-person shooter titles that still has a huge player base today. Of course, the game's success can be contributed to the constant DLC updates and content packs such as the 2019 major expansion called Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, which introduced several new features to the game including a new set of legendary items.

In March of this year, Borderlands 3 also released its second major DLC expansion called Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, and as the title suggests, the expansion focused on the characters of Wainwright Jakobs and Sir Hammerlock, who are organizing their wedding on the planet Xylourgos. Similar to the first DLC expansion, Guns, Love, and Tentacles also introduced a slew of new legendary weapons and a level cap increase from 53 to 57. The update also gave players four additional skill points to use and the ability to finish two skill trees for the final capstone ability.

As for what's next in Borderlands 3, developer Gearbox is currently prepping for the launch of the game's third DLC expansion called Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption, which is scheduled to launch on June 25. Interestingly enough, Borderlands 3's third DLC isn't even out yet and fans of the franchise are already looking at the fourth, which could explain the return of a fan-favorite character.

Borderlands 3 is out now for the PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
