Disclaimer: The June PS5 reveal event has been delayed. At this time, Yoshida has not yet announced if a similar feature will still be in place during the rescheduled event.

Sony's Shuhei Yoshida reveals a cool feature that PS4 players can use to watch the PS5 reveal event. Sony will be holding the PS5 reveal event this Thursday and several major titles and exclusives are expected to be announced.

On Twitter, Yoshida, the head of independent developer initiative at Sony Interactive Entertainment, provided a useful tip to anyone planning to watch the PS5 reveal event on television. PS4 players can go to the console's "Events" menu, find the event, register for it and select "Auto-Join at Start Time". Players who do this and leave their PS4 in Rest Mode will find that the console will switch itself on at the time of the event, helping to ensure that they can watch though they may have forgotten about it. The link in Yoshida's tweet doesn't work so players will have to go to the Events menu and do all of this themselves.

While Sony hasn't confirmed any of the games that will be part of the event, there are rumors that give fans an idea of what to expect. One rumor that has been going around for some time is that a PS5 exclusive Silent Hill game will be officially announced at the event. Death Stranding developer Hideo Kojima has denied that he is developing the game but this doesn't mean that no PS5 Silent Hill game is in development, or that it won't be revealed this week.

Another popular suggestion is that Guerrilla Games will be announcing Horizon Zero Dawn 2 at the event. Horizon Zero Dawn 2 always seemed incredibly likely due to the huge success of the first game but as Guerrilla Games developers have told fans to watch the event in deleted tweets, there is a greater possibility.

Fans can also expect to see Godfall at the PS5 reveal event. At The Game Awards 2019, the game was confirmed as a PS5 launch title. A new Godfall teaser trailer today also suggested that developer Counterplay Games is going to make a bigger reveal or announcement soon.

Some other possible titles that could be at the event are Dragon Age 4, which has just been confirmed for PS5, and a new remaster from Bluepoint Games. This is unconfirmed but fans, whether they're watching the event on mobile or on TV through their PS4, will be able to see this week.
