While there is already a massive amount of great games available on Nintendo Switch new and old, players may have a new re-release to look forward to. Game developer Suda51 is hoping to port some of his classic games to the Switch as well.

Suda51, real name Goichi Suda, is a Japanese dev currently working on No More Heroes 3 for the Nintendo Switch. Suda has been a legendary game designer for decades, and some of his games have become classics in the industry. Some of these games, released under the Grasshopper Manufacture label, include The Silver Case, Flower, Sun and Rain, Killer7, and of course the older No More Heroes games.

In a recent interview during MomoCon's Twitch stream, Suda mentioned that while many of his games have rights belonging to other companies, some of his older titles may have a shot at getting a re-release on the Nintendo Switch. He said that "the most realistic of those would be The Silver Case" to come to a newer console. He also briefly mentioned a potential remake of Flower, Sun and Rain, which was originally released for PlayStation 2 and then ported to the Nintendo DS in 2001. Since No More Heroes 3 is pretty far along in development, perhaps players will see one of these two games port to the Switch in 2021.

With a massive number of new ports and games coming to the Nintendo Switch, including the new Pikmin 3 port that's to be released soon, Switch players certainly don't have a shortage of games to play. But the edition of some classic Grasshopper games would make the Switch just that much sweeter.
