The PlayStation Direct Store is currently holding a Spring Savings Sale that offers a 50% discount on eligible PlayStation Hits game with a purchase of a one-month subscription to either PS Plus or PS Now. Players interested should know that the promotion will only be available until June 1st, so those who will be renewing their subscriptions to any of the PlayStation's online services should consider this promo to get a good deal on classic PS4 games.

It is also worth knowing that the promo only applies to one PlayStation Hits game, so those who plan to buy more than one should know that the discount will only be applied to a single game. As of the moment, the eligible PlayStation Hits games are as follows:

All of the games listed above are currently priced at $19.99, but with the promo, players can get one of the above for only $9.99. Now, a one-month PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now subscription retails for $9.99 each, which means that getting a subscription and a game would cost players a total of $19.98 before tax, saving them a total of $10.

To the uninitiated, PlayStation Plus is the PS4's online service that allows players to access most of the console's online multiplayer features. The service also provides players a handful of free games on a monthly basis that they can download and play for a limited time. For this month, the PlayStation Plus is offering Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19 as the free titles to download. Players weren't happy with this month's free games, which led to thousands signing a petition for Sony to change the roster.

On the other hand, PlayStation Now is Sony's streaming service that offers a Netflix-style platform that allows players to stream certain titles for a monthly subscription. Every month, Sony updates the PS Now's library with new games, and most recently, the company added The Evil Within 2, Rainbow Six Siege, and Get Even to the streaming service. Additionally, Sony also added its first-party exclusive title, Marvel's Spider-Man to the service, which marks the first time that a PlayStation 4 exclusive game has been added to PS Now. However, players interested in streaming Marvel's Spider-Man should know that the game will only be available until July 7, 2020.
