The free to play Warframe has changed substantially from its early days while still remaining relevant with players. Unfortunately, fans of the game have had to deal with disappointment, as one of its most anticipated updates was delayed.

While its theme of space assassins keeping peace in the galaxy is nothing new, Warframe continues to exist in its own unique sphere. With a focus on earning ever-stronger weapons and Warframes to play with, the game lives on its updates and new content. While the latest devstream confirmed the Duvari update is still distant, not all the news was bad.

A special syndicate exists in Warframe called Nightwave: a radio station that calls on Tenno for cross-planet altruism. Nightwave is event-based, with two Sessions wrapped up already, currently in its second intermission. Now it seems the new Session, titled Glassmaker, is finally set to drop. Glassmaker is apparently the first Nightwave Session with interactive vignettes, and is a cross-planet murder mystery. Odds are players will be swapping clues at the virtual Tennocon come July, if the Session is still going on by then.

warframe, limbo prime

Duvari may still be a ways away, but it is clear that Warframe is keeping the ball rolling. Now is the time for Tenno to dust off their best weapons and get back in the fray.

Warframe is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X ports planned for the future.
