Ready to pilot the Good Ship Eternally in Debt? Or at least test out if that ship name is appropriate? Then your chance is coming as Elite: Dangerous will be kicking off its second round of beta testing for those massive monuments to in-game excess, the Fleet Carriers.

This round of beta kicks off on Monday, May 11th, and will run all the way until Tuesday, May 26th, with testing starting and ending at 7:00 a.m. EDT. This time around, everyone’s invited, including players on consoles as well as on PC. Players should also bear in mind that their saved data from this past Thursday, April 30th, has been carried over for this beta round.

Apparently, there will be further updates to Fleet Carriers in this build, though details on what has changed will be announced at a later time. Already things were tuned down, so perhaps the operational chores and costs are getting further adjustment ahead of testing. In the meantime, those who want to hop in and pilot their own supermassive internet spaceship have some instructions to follow.
