Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft's competitive asymmetric FPS, underwent some major balance changes back in early April. One of the Operators who benefited the most from these reforms was Attacker Ying, who'd been considered seriously under-powered by a lot of the Siege community before the buffs.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft went a little too far in bringing Ying up to a competitive level and left her in a state that many players considered to be overpowered. Now the over-correction is being corrected, as Ubisoft has just released another patch hoping to end Ying's month-long dominance.

The change this time has lowered the amount of Candela Charges Ying can use, from four down to three. The Candela Charge is quite a handy item, releasing a flurry of small flash-bangs. These charges can overwhelm a defending team's anti-grenade defenses, as well as hit almost anyone in the room into which they're thrown. The Candela Charge can also be hurled like a traditional grenade, or placed against a barricade to fire the flash-bangs into the room on the other side.

Also included in the patch, which released on April 30th, was a fix for the MMR rollback bug, which would give incorrect information after a cheater had been banned. Finally, the update placed a cap on the daily amount of XP that can gained from the Training Grounds, preventing players from grinding them.
