Early this morning, Albion Online’s Sandbox Interactive laid out the roadmap for the next Guild Season – its ninth so far. The key dates here are May 16th, when the complicated plan begins, and August 10th, when the season ends with its winner declared.

But before you dip into the timeline, remember that Sandbox will be trying out some of its ideas for creating “more incentives for big power blocks to fight each other,” though they won’t all hit at the same time. That includes the addition of season points from veteran and world bosses, the removal of full looting from Crystal League matches in exchange for tokens and season points, the new penalties for guilds and alliances hoarding territory, the rejiggering of rank point thresholds, and the big one: the changes to siphoned energy and season points generated by territories.
