A few days ago, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford released a new Borderlands 3 shift code for 5 Golden Keys. Now Pitchford has released yet another shift code that Borderlands 3 fans can redeem to get some free loot in the game, with this one good for three Golden Keys.
As usual, Pitchford released the new Borderlands 3 shift code through his Twitter account. The code is good until midnight PT on April 20, so fans have a few days to redeem it if they want the free loot. Anyone interested can redeem the new Borderlands 3 shift code through the Gearbox Software website, in-game, or through the official Borderlands website. Once the new Borderlands 3 shift code is redeemed, the next step is claiming the Golden Keys through the in-game mailbox, and then using them on the chest aboard Sanctuary III.
Here is the new Borderlands 3 shift code for April 17-20: 5BKBB-KZ9SK-69R69-5F3TT-RK5RC. Fans that fail to redeem the new Borderlands 3 shift code in time should note that new ones are released on a near-weekly basis, so they should have plenty more opportunities to redeem shift codes sooner rather than later.
Pitchford released this new Borderlands 3 shift code as part of the "Making It Rain" promotion that's live in the looter-shooter until April 23. This promotion will see in-game currency cash drops increased in an effort to prepare players for the upcoming Revenge of the Cartels event that will go live by the end of the month.
There is even more new content for Borderlands 3 players to look forward to next month. Following the Revenge of the Cartels event is the free Guardian Takedown update, which will go live at some point in May. The Guardian Takedown will be an Eridian-themed Takedown, giving players the chance to go head to head with new bosses and earn some new loot while they wait for more substantial DLC.
The Borderlands 3 Guns, Love, and Tentacles expansion just released a few weeks ago, so fans shouldn't expect the third Borderlands 3 DLC expansion any time soon. The most likely scenario is that it will be announced and release at some point this coming summer, so fans should try to be patient until then.
