Dauntless introduced its Easter event, entitled Springtide, and it mixes things up a bit. Rather than having players embark on a monster hunt, they are embarking on an egg hunt, and actually protecting a very cute kind of monster called a pufflehop from attack.

Though many were uncertain as to what the run time of Dauntless' Easter event would be, its official end date has been revealed as April 23rd, meaning fans of the game still have over a week to experience the new game mode and reap its seasonal themed rewards for themselves.

Since Springtide is a new game mode within the existing structure of Dauntless, keeping it around a little longer doesn't really negatively affect anything. This is in contrast to Animal Crossing: New Horizon's Easter event, as players were getting sick of its Bunny Day taking over everything on the island.

For those players wishing to partake in the Springtide event before it ends on April 23rd, they need simply seek out Bosun Markus in Ramsgate. Players should be familiar with him as he plays a pivotal role throughout much of Dauntless. The departure from the more violent aspects of Dauntless can be a nice break for a change.

Dauntless is available for free on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
