Disney has just announced a new set of shorts starring fan-favorite Frozen character, Olaf, and even released the first episode which can be seen below. The first animated short is under a minute and the rest will likely follow suit with this trend as well.

What makes At Home With Olaf so notable is that animator Hyrum Osmond and voice of Olaf, Josh Gad, created the short together from the safety of their individual homes. The Frozen stories are meant to promote people to stay home during the coronavirus pandemic and bring smiles to people during a time when smiles are somewhat lacking.

The first entry of the series, titled "Fun With Snow," sees Olaf playing with snowballs on what appears to be a frozen lake somewhere in Frozen 2's enchanted forest. Eventually, a Snowgie (see Frozen Fever) comes, and the two engage in a rather awkward game of fetch involving the Snowgie's head. The short is both cute and charming and is sure to bring smiles to the faces of children.

It is as of yet unclear when the next installment in the series will arrive, but it likely won't be long. Public reaction so far has been overwhelmingly positive, with many fans claiming the move is both impressive since it was done from home and wholesome as well.
