ArcheAge kicks off the Lantern Festival as a tribute to the lost

Less of this and more lantern-y.

The development team at ArcheAge is encouraging everyone to stay home and stay safe, and part of how you do that is by focusing on pretend lantern festivals to honor the fallen. (See, no one wants you to be fallen. Everyone wants you to be alive.) The Lantern Festival is running until April 23rd, with floating Yata lanterns and a mysterious one floating by as well.

Players who wish to earn rewards should look out for that mysterious Yata lantern floating by at 2:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 1:00 a.m. EDT; you can subsequently light the lantern to earn three event coins and get a buff by completing the event quest, using the coins to buy rugs, lantern decorations, and similar trinkets. If you’re eager to participate for rewards or just a love of lanterns, jump on in before the 23rd to set some lights adrift on the wind.
