American publishing giant Bethesda has said that it will not be running a digital press conference this June.
The news was broken by the company's global SVP of marketing and comms Pete Hines (pictured) on Twitter (below), in which the exec said that Bethesda wouldn't be one of the publishers holding a conference in the wake of E3 2020 being cancelled by organiser US trade body the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The LA trade show is one of the many events that has been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, joining the likes of fan events for Eve Online and Minecraft. Meanwhile, the likes of GDC, EGX Rezzed and Reboot Develop Blue have been postponed until later in the year.
Hines says that Bethesda still has things to show off and will be telling its audience more about them in the near future. Bethesda has been holding press conferences at E3 since 2015 when it unveiled Fallout 4 and showed off the likes of Doom.
