This week, Capcom's highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 3 is releasing worldwide for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Luckily for players on the PC, video game retailer Green Man Gaming is currently offering a good deal for the pre-order of Resident Evil 3 remake. However, players interested to purchase the game should remember that Green Man Gaming's discount is only available for a limited time and will expire in less than 24 hours at the time of this writing.

To the uninitiated, Resident Evil 3 was initially released by Capcom back in 1999 and revolves around the harrowing escape of S.T.A.R.S. officer Jill Valentine from the T-Virus infected Raccoon City and from the clutches of Nemesis, a tyrant sent by Umbrella to eliminate her. The game is available at Green Man Gaming for $46.19, which is 23% off its current list price of $59.99. It is worth noting that Green Man Gaming's price for the Resident Evil 3's pre-order is currently the lowest available right now.

Additionally, players who pre-order Resident Evil 3 will receive a bonus costume DLC that will allow players to switch Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveria's outfits with their original counterparts from the 1999 game. Ever since Capcom revealed that Jill Valentine will not be wearing her iconic outfit from the original game, some players were disappointed. Luckily, this costume DLC provides a compromise that will allow Capcom to keep Jill's default outfit realistic and practical while giving players the option to use the original outfit when they want to.

Recently, Capcom released the highly-anticipated demo of Resident Evil 3, which gave players a sneak peek of what to expect in the upcoming game. Although the demo ran short and is playable for less than an hour, it allowed players to explore a bit of Raccoon City, and even have a short encounter with Nemesis himself. Additionally, Capcom carefully placed tons of easter eggs in the demo that provides an additional challenge for the most-dedicated Resident Evil fan.

Now that the game is just a few days away, several news outlets have already published their respective reviews of the game. While Resident Evil 3 received mostly positive reviews, some critics noted that it felt like a step-back from Resident Evil 2 remake, especially since reviewers felt the game lacked the surprise factor, unlike its predecessor.

Resident Evil 3 is set to release on April 3, 2020, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
