Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Early Access Info from Developers

The developers from TaleWorlds Entertainment took to the Steam page of the upcoming Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord to update players on what is happening with the Early Access of the game. In the post, the team rejoices that after 8 years of blood, sweat and tears the EA release is finally almost here.

Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the team has switched into working remotely with the assistance of the IT team. Knowing that the current situation placed many people in a financial strain, TaleWorlds is making the game available for 10% off for the first two weeks of sale. In addition to this, anyone who owns any previous Mount & Blade title will be eligible for an additional 10% off in select digital stores.

Additionally, the Early Access release is coming a bit sooner than expected – get ready to ride to glory on the battlefields of Calradia as soon as 10 am UTC, March 30th.

And while there is definitely plenty of content for players to dive into and enjoy, we must be clear in reminding you that this is an Early Access release. There may be bugs and glitches, there will certainly be balancing issues, some features may be missing or currently disabled, and certain aspects of the game might not receive full-support until later down the line. You can expect to see reused scenes (our eventual aim is that each town and castle will have its own unique scene) as well as other types of placeholder content, such as voice lines, animations, quests, etc.

Check out the full update to find out more, including the detailed list of what content is included in the Early Access and what will come later.
