The lineup isn’t quite as wild as the bands that raised $127M to fight African famines at Live Aid in the ’80s, but the heart and the effort for Twitch Aid 2020 is definitely there. Yep, this afternoon Twitch announced a massive online streaming event – with everything from music to games – this Saturday, all in an effort to keep people home and watching – and donating.

“Stars from the worlds of music, gaming, and sports are going live to save lives. Stay home and tune in LIVE this Saturday, March 28th 9am-9pm PT to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. All proceeds will be donated to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.”

The video game of note in the lineup is Fortnite – no surprise there – and the company is encouraging smaller streamers to tag in and run their own donation drives during the event.
