Team-based shooter Rogue Company announced for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch

A new hero shooter is on the horizon

Hi-Rez Studios has unveiled a brand-new team-based multiplayer shooter with Rogue Company. The competitive third-person shooter is slated to come out on pretty much every gaming platform sometime later this year. Check out the gameplay reveal trailer below to see the game in action!

Fans of competitive shooters can look forward to another stylish entry into the popular multiplayer genre. Rogue Company is developed by First Watch Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios, and aims to scratch that never-ending itch of bodying enemy teams in high-octane online battles.

Rogue Company will feature crossplay and cross- progression across all major platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One & PC on the Epic Games Store in 2020.
As a Rogue Company mercenary, players will grab their weapon of choice and dive into iconic locations to compete online in various PVP game modes.
With an arsenal of mercenaries, guns, abilities, and game modes, there is always something to master.
Rogue Company operatives are indispensable to solving the world’s deadliest and most challenging missions.

The newly released gameplay video shows a great overview of the themes and mechanics of Rogue Company. Similar to Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch, the game features a cast of player characters with distinct skills, traits and drawbacks. Playing together as a team and cancelling out each other’s weak points by clever use of one’s own skills is key to conquering the battlefield.

Rogue Company will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Later will be exclusively on the Epic Games Store. With full cross-play support across all platforms, the likelihood of a healthy player base is also looking promising. There’s no concrete release date besides a tentative 2020 window, but the developer plans to hold an Alpha for it beforehand. You can sign up for the Alpha via the game’s website here.
