Gearbox Software recently hosted a new episode of The Borderlands Show, its series that details new content coming to the popular looter-shooter Borderlands 3. The latest episode of the show focused on the new content coming to the game for March and April, and it also gave viewers a new shift code that they can redeem for a whopping five Golden Keys.

Like all Borderlands 3 shift codes, the new shift code can be redeemed in-game, through the Borderlands website, or through the Gearbox Software website. But where this new shift code differs is that it's five Golden Keys instead of just the usual one or three, and it also has a longer shelf-life than most shift codes. Typically, Borderlands 3 shift codes only last a day or a weekend, but this new shift code is available for fans to redeem until April 8 at 11:59pm PT.

Here is the new Borderlands 3 shift code: CTWJB-H5HSW-R96RS-5R3BB-H33K5. Upon redeeming it, players will receive five Golden Keys in their Borderlands 3 mailbox. They will then need to claim the keys and use them on the chest aboard Sanctuary III for some free loot.

Hardcore Borderlands 3 fans no doubt appreciate new shift codes, but most are likely more excited about what's coming later. On Thursday, March 26, Borderlands 3 DLC 2 will finally be available, giving players a new planet to explore, quests to complete, and more. The DLC is called Guns, Love, and Tentacles, and it will feature a Cthulhu cosmic horror theme alongside the wedding of Sir Hammerlock and Wainwright.

April will bring even more content for Borderlands 3 enthusiasts. This will include the long-awaited addition of Mayhem 2.0, as well as a new limited-time event called Revenge of the Cartels. Past Borderlands 3 events, like the Bloody Harvest, have proved popular with the community, so this should at least give fans of the game some more to do while they wait for news on the inevitable Borderlands 3 DLC 3.

The Borderlands 3 season pass promises a total of four expansions for the game, with DLC 3 likely to come in the summer and DLC 4 in the fall or winter. This is assuming that there aren't any major delays caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which is a very real possibility.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
