The marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock makes up the centerpiece of Borderlands 3's DLC campaign Guns, Love, and Tentacles. Their engagement party is set on the new planet of Xylourgos. Gearbox Software has updated its official website with details on the new planet, giving party guests an idea of what to expect should they attend.

The Borderlands 3 team has teased some details about the DLC in recent weeks, and Borderlands fans have been preparing ahead of its release. Guns, Love, and Tentacles is the second expansion (of four planned) in the Borderlands 3 world, following Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, and will feature a few familiar faces. Vault Hunter Gaige will act as the wedding planner, with her trusty robot sidekick Deathtrap also joining her. Now, details on the wedding venue have emerged, with the mysterious planet Xylourgos hosting the wedding.

The popular Borderlands franchise is shifting to the new planet of Xylourgos, an unusual choice for a wedding, as the planet is described as a "harsh, windswept ice world." A few of the enemies players will likely encounter during their stay include "mutated rock slugs, ferocious wolven, and other terrifying creatures with teeth and tentacles aplenty. An ancient, otherworldly horror once called the planet home, and according to sources, the corpse of this beast now houses a town of occultists. The simple diagram of the planet that accompanies the new details lets players know that three key areas on the planet include the Skittermaw Basin, Negul Neshai, and Cursehaven.

With the DLC only days away, and with a fair of amount of details already released, fans are beginning to speculate on the fate of other popular characters who haven't been confirmed as appearing in Guns, Love, and Tentacles. Fans of Krieg, Salvador, Axton, and Athena are wondering when these characters might make an appearance in the Borderlands 3 DLC.

Wainwright and Hammerlock's tentacular wedding is fast approaching, so save the date (March 26th). If players are just getting into the Borderlands 3 experience, enemies and loot found on Xylourgos will be scaled to the player's level, so newbies will be able to RSVP right away. For experienced Vault Hunters, figuring out which legendary weapons were buffed in the last update will help them prepare for the big day.
