Borderlands 3's next big DLC is just days away, and millions of people are stuck at home self-isolating due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. To give Borderlands 3 fans something to do while they're at home and waiting for the new DLC to release, Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has released yet another shift code that fans can redeem to get their hands on three Golden Keys in the game.

Whereas many Borderlands 3 shift codes expire within 24 hours, this latest one will be available to redeem for a couple of days. The new Borderlands 3 shift code expires on Monday, March 23 at 10am CT. Those interested in redeeming it can head to the Gearbox Software website, the official Borderlands website, or redeem the code in-game. After redeeming the new Borderlands 3 shift code, players will be sent three golden keys through their in-game mailbox, which can then be used on the chest aboard Sanctuary III for some free loot.

New Borderlands 3 shift codes are always exciting for fans of Gearbox's looter-shooter, but most are focused on the launch of DLC 2 later this week. On March 26, Gearbox is releasing Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock, which will feature new loot to collect, legendary weapons to unlock, and a Lovecraftian monster theme. The upcoming Borderlands 3 DLC will also see the return of Gaige, a Vault Hunter from Borderlands 2.

Beyond the new Borderlands 3 story expansion releasing on March 26, fans also have more content to look forward to in April and May. April will see the release of Mayhem 2.0 for hardcore players, and it will also see the start of a new in-game event called Revenge of the Cartels. Revenge of the Cartels will likely be similar to the Bloody Harvest event, so while it won't feature any substantial new story developments, it should still give fans of the game something to do.

And finally, May will see the release of the new raid called Guardian Takedown. Like Revenge of the Cartels, it will also be free for all Borderlands 3 players. While fans wait for all of this content, there will likely be many more Borderlands 3 shift codes released as well, so players should be able to collect more loot than they know what to do with in the coming months.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
