Call of Duty: Warzone has been out now for several days, and it is the fastest-growing battle royale title ever, outperforming even Apex Legends' incredible launch. However, there have been some problems with the game since its release, and players have now discovered a major Call of Duty: Warzone exploit that is already ruining some online matches.

The Call of Duty exploit that's currently causing problems is especially frustrating because it helps players easily win matches, and it requires that they break the game to do it. It's done using simple in-game mechanics that all players have access to: the ability to revive teammates. Specifically, the exploit allows players to out-survive their opponents by reviving one another endlessly out in the gas where they can't be found.

Here's how the exploit is able to work: two teammates simply go out into the fog and synchronize their downs so that one person can revive the other before then going down themselves. It works because the fog damage, even in late-game circles, doesn't outpace the revive time, and reviving a teammate gives them near-full health if it's done quickly. While this can be done normally with perfect timing, the Tune Up perk improves reviving speed by 25% and makes it much simpler.

Unfortunately, there's no counter-play to the exploit. In order to prevent opponents from doing it, Warzone players would need to know exactly where they are, and even then they would have to explore the gas to find them, which isn't realistic.

Luckily, it seems like this exploit can easily be fixed, and the devs just have to decide how to approach this big Call of Duty: Warzone problem. The easiest answer could be to make revives take longer when performed in quick succession, or they could simply provide less health. Whatever the devs' decision, the exploit is likely to be fixed relatively quickly.

The revive exploit is likely just the first of many to be discovered in Call of Duty: Warzone, as no online game goes long without them. It's unfortunate that this one can be performed with ease and ultimately wins the Warzone round. Hopefully, any further exploits are at least much more difficult for players to replicate.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
