Trials of Osiris is back in Destiny 2 with its high-intensity competitive games and exclusive loot. But if players want to keep that loot, they better make sure they have cleared out some room in their inventory. Bungie even issued a warning to Destiny 2 players about some specific items that can be lost from Trials of Osiris and which will not go to the Postmaster.

First off, players should make sure they have space in the Consumables section of their Inventory screens. If they do not have space, Trials Tokens, which can be turned in for additional Trials of Osiris loot, will be lost. They will not go to the Postmaster to be recovered later. Additionally, Trials Tokens expire weekend-to-weekend and cannot be hoarded, so it is even more important to ensure space is open and to use them this weekend.

Adding another item with the same warning, Bungie's Creative Lead Lars Bakken also took to Twitter to warn players about another item that could be lost—the emblem players receive for going Flawless and opening the Lighthouse chest. Bakken's advice is to make sure to have some open space in their Emblems section before opening the Lighthouse chest.

These seem to be the only technical issues that have come along in this first weekend of Trials of Osiris. But, of course, the reaction from fans is a mixed bag. While many fans are happy that Trials of Osiris is back and enjoying the time they are playing, others are complaining about constantly running into players at the highest end of the level cap.

The reaction to the exclusive Trials loot has also been a mixture of praise and criticism, with some happy with the new loot stream added to the game while others are upset at the absence of Adept weapons, which in Destiny 1 were an alternate version of Trials weapons that had a secondary intrinsic perk and special cosmetic treatment.

Regardless of players' experience and reaction to Trials of Osiris, it is important for players to make sure they have those specific areas of their inventory cleared enough to receive their loot. Players also receive loot at their third, fifth, and seventh win. While those drops will go to the Postmaster, it might be a good idea for players to also have some space open for those weapons and armor as well, especially if their Postmaster is pressed for space.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
