Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 has now entered its fourth week, and TNTina has a brand new batch of challenges for players to take on. One of these challenges tasks fans with scanning Fortnite's Henchmen, NPCs that many players have become quite familiar with over the course of Season 2, and this guide will provide details on how to do exactly that.
The first step in completing Fortnite's "scan a Henchman in different matches" challenge is to locate these foes, and that can be done by visiting The Agency, The Shark, The Rig, The Grotto, or The Yacht. These locations, which can be seen marked on the map below, are the homes of the game's Henchmen, and these adversaries are easily identifiable thanks to their white suits and skull masks.
Once a Henchman has been found, players should shoot them until they are knocked down, and then they can approach them. This is a process that will be familiar to those fans that previously completed the challenge to shakedown Henchmen in Fortnite, but players should opt to pick up the downed foe this time around. At this point, the Henchman must be carried to an ID scanner, which can be found near the aforementioned areas' locked doors and chests and are used to scan these NPCs.
It is important to note that this Fortnite Season 2 Week 4 challenge cannot be completed in a single match, as the Henchmen must be scanned in "different matches." Thus, players should not waste their time trying to scan a single Henchman multiples times in a match, as doing so will not advance the challenge past the initial scan. However, players can return to the same ID scanner in a new match if they find one that they are particularly fond of.
When players are finished scanning Henchmen, they can then move onto some of the other challenges for this week, which will have them using decoy grenades, fishing with explosives, and getting boss weapons in Fortnite. Ultimately, players that complete enough of these challenges will gain access to TNTina's SHADOW or GHOST skin, and scanning Henchmen is certainly a good way to make some easy progress towards that goal.
