The Division 2, the post-apocalyptic action-RPG from Massive Entertainment, has recently been expanded with the Warlords of New York DLC. Returning the game to the big apple, the expansion adds new story lines, new gear, and new Hunters to The Division 2's post-pandemic world.

Hunters are perhaps the most dangerous enemy in The Division 2, and are often summoned through secret quests. The community of Division 2 secret hunters have recently discovered a new pair of these fearsome opponents, locked behind a long and meandering quest chain. Here's how to summon them.

Lost in the Laundry

The quest chain to spawn the pair of new Hunters is rather more complicated than the one to spawn the Divide Hunter, and begins to the west of Gate CP in the Civic Center region. There players can find a building marked UDBG on the corner, with a laundry room inside where they should interact with washing machine number 23.

This will cause the lights to go out, requiring players to find a replacement fuse. This can be found in the garage just northwest of the Residential Building Safe House in the Two Bridges Region. Behind the garage there's a fenced backyard that can be climbed into. Enter it and follow the yellow wire to a yellow box. Shooting the box will unlock the nearby door, allowing players to collect the fuses from an open fuse box within.

Return to the laundry room and replace the fuses in the box there, then use the same washing machine again to get the Apartment 23 Key. Go to the second floor of the same building, and enter the apartment. Here players should interact with the wall of numbers, which are coordinates that lead to an alley southwest of the apartment. Before leaving make sure to search around for some shiny Warlords of New York 2.0 Loot.

The Final Hurdle

Once in the alley, find and shoot the rope leading to the rooftop of a brick building, then climb up and follow the path to a hidden room. Again follow the yellow wire at the door to its box in order to open it. Once through the door, interact with the burnt corpse under the large text on the wall.

Next, head to the burnt building in the southwest of the Civic Center region. It's hard to miss, as it's a smoldering ruin surrounded by abandoned fire trucks. Simply find and interact with the body near the yellow hose on the ground, and the Hunters will spawn. Like all Hunters they are extremely dangerous and aggressive, and will despawn if the player who summoned them dies. So make sure to bring the best Exotic gear, and a few friends too.

The Division 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
