Today begins the new year of adventure and yet another nod to Skyrim in The Elder Scrolls Online as the Harrowstorm DLC and Update 25 have officially gone live on PC and Mac. That means new dungeons, new performance, and other improvements. Once you’ve finished re-downloading the client, anyway.

If you’ve paid out for the Harrowstorm DLC, you’re getting two tasty new dungeons to delve in the form of Icereach and the Unhallowed Grave, while everyone gets Update 25 and its features like improved performance overall.

Harrowstorm and Update 25 are the first steps towards the ongoing Dark Heart of Skyrim content updates being added to ESO. Up next in May for PC and June for consoles is the Greymoor chapter, which will bring players to western Skyrim and the Blackreach cavern. For now, though, there’s the current content to gnaw on first. And while you’re at it, you can get our first impressions of the new dungeons.
