Three new Final Fantasy 7 Remake videos show off each of the three pre-order DLC Summons.

The DLC Summon screenshots released about a week ago did the same thing, only in less detail. With the videos, viewers can see each Summon's unique intro, what kind of magic and attacks they passively use, and get a possible look at some of the ATB (Active Time Battle) attacks that each Summon can preform -- cuts in the videos make it hard to tell, though.

Just like last time, Chocobo Chick kicks things off. When summoned, this little guy floats around and casts various offensive spells to help Cloud and his friends dish out damage. The video shows Chocobo Chick passively attacking Cloud's enemy with Thunder magic. Since the DLC screenshots from before showed it attacking with Fire spells, it's possible that it also uses Blizzard as well. Whatever else it's capable of remains a mystery. Its ATB attack seems to cause enemies to explode spontaneously.

Carbuncle flies around just like Chocobo Chick. But instead of attacking and dealing damage to enemies, Carbuncle casts defensive and support spells on the entire party. The video shows it casting the same Barrier magic from the screenshots, but then shows off a new bit of magic toward the end. At first glance, it looks like a defensive Aero spell -- what with all the gust and swirling effects. However, the result looks more like a Cure spell, as it heals everyone in the party to full health when it hits.

Last but not least: Cactuar. Out of the three, Cactuar seems to have the most aesthetically pleasing attacks. When summoned, it just runs around and blasts people with needles at speeds that seem to rival most automatic weapons. The speed at which it fires makes it seem like it can out DPS Chocobo Chick, but it only does single-digit numbers with its needles while Chocobo seems to strike beyond the high 200s with all of its spells. However, one of Cactuar's ATB attacks turns its needle barrage into an AoE and makes every strike hit in the double digits.

Players will be able to pick up these Final Fantasy 7 Remake Summons if they pre-order the game, or purchase either the Delux Edition or 1St Class Edition. Doing any of these things will make the Summon's materia available to them at launch.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will launch for the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020.
