When Nintendo first announced that Switch Lite would be coming in a trio of new colors – yellow, blue, and gray — players who had a hankering for pink were sorely disappointed. All that has changed thanks to the company’s announcement that a pink coral Switch Lite will be coming out on March 20th right alongside the other three. Take this with a grain of salt, however, as the pink coral Lite is only confirmed for Japan so far. Preorders in Japan will begin on March 7th.
Nintendo originally announced the new Lite colors to coincide with the arrival of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. From what we’ve read, these pink coral versions were manufactured in January before the coronavirus had hit its stride so there shouldn’t be any delay in getting one of these on release.
