The details of the character profile appear to match Nivellen's backstory, shared in Andrzej Sapkowski's short story entitled "A Grain of Truth", which sees Geralt of Rivia stumble upon a rundown manor, inhabited by a monstrous, cursed nobleman known as Nivellen.If true, Hivju joins an ever-growing cast list for the second season of the fantasy drama, alongside Peaky Blinders actor Paul Bullion who has reportedly been cast as Lambert and Strike Back star Yasen Atour who is apparently set to portray Coën.
