Capcom's Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has retained its place in pole position of the Steam Top Ten.

The DLC was released for PC on January 9th following a console release in 2019. Capcom also claimed the No.6 spot this week with Monster Hunter: World. Iceborne featured on Metacritic's highest-reviewed games of 2019 - it sat in fourth place with a Metascore of 90.

The beast slaying RPG has shifted 4.5 million copies on PC as of March 2019. However, by July 2019, 13 million units have been shipped worldwide. In March last year, it was revealed that PC is the second-largest platform for Capcom's title.

In second place this week, Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. The game was released last week on January 16th. Taking the No.3 spot this week is another newly released game, Romance Of The Three Kingdoms XIV by Koei Tecmo Games.

At No.7 is Rockstar's seemingly ever-present crime blockbuster Grand Theft Auto V. Between May and November 2019, five million copies of the game were shipped around the world. Fellow Rockstar game Red Dead Redemption 2 follows in eighth place. 

The 2018 hit came to PC on November 5th 2019, it joined Valve's storefront one month later.

Ever present in the Steam Top Ten is PUBG Corp's battle royale progenitor. Playerunknown's Battlegrounds dropped tow places to the No.9 spot. PUBG's creator Brendan "Playerunknown" Greene announced a new IP called Prologue at the end of 2019. However, it will not serve as a sequel to the battle royale.

Finally, in tenth place is Early Access title GTFO. The four-player co-operative horror game came to Steam in December 2019.
