Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind will divulge the untold story of Sora's journey to recovery Kairi's heart. It will also explain what exactly happened to him at the end of the game, as he unceremoniously disappeared.

However, Sora's tale won't be the only one that Re: Mind explores. All of the major characters primarily affected by his disappearance will also have plots of their own to experience.

The official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account teased these plots with new screenshots. The account's tweet features four distinct images accompanied by the text "Find out what all of these characters are up to soon..." Each image hints at some of the major plotlines that will unfold throughout the DLC. Some fans may find the pictures familiar, as they've appeared in the past Re: Mind trailers. The four shots feature Riku talking to Aqua, Axel wielding his flaring chakrams, Xigbar holding one of Luxord's cards, and Demyx stepping out of a dark corridor.

The image of Riku and Aqua comes from the final Re: Mind trailer. It centers on a moment between the two characters in the Land of Departure. Here, Riku worries about Aqua's comfort with their next challenge. But Aqua claims she'll be fine since she won't be alone "this time," a statement that suggests she and Riku will be diving back into the Realm of Darkness, as she was stranded alone there for 11 years. She and Riku more than likely plan to search for Sora there.

The image of Axel revolves around the 3v1 fight he, Roxas, and Xion gave Sai'x during KH3's climax. Axel, Sai'x, Roxas, and Xion make their home in Twilight Town afterward. However, because Sora has disappeared, the group joins in on the search to find him.

The image of Xigbar comes from both the E3 Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer and the final trailer, and centers on a moment shared between him and Luxord. The two discuss the mysterious black box that Maleficent searched for the entire game. They also question each other's real identities, hinting that Re: Mind will finally explain why Xemnas chooses Luxord, Larxene, Marluxia, and Demyx to join the organization.

Speaking of Demyx, his image also comes from the final trailer, which shows him approaching Riku after Riku-Replica's defeat. What exactly he has to say remains to be seen, but he was working with Vexen to deliver vessels under the Organization's nose, so it probably involves that. Kingdom Hearts fans only have to wait six more days to find out.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
