Final Fantasy XIV brings back the Moogle Treasure Trove on January 20

Oh, right, more freaking sky pirates.

It’s time for another run of the Moogle Treasure Trove event in Final Fantasy XIV, because the event is a good way of making sure that people queue up for content even when a patch is getting a little long in the tooth and you don’t have much more leveling to do. But the latest event boasting Moogle Tomestones of Soldiery is a bit different from its predecessors insofar as it offers rewards for different queues. Need some incentive to take on Dun Scaith, Void Ark, or the Weeping City of Mhach? Now you’ll have it!

This round’s unique reward is the Namazu neckerchief, but you can also pick up otherwise rare drops like the Magitek Predator mount, the Red Panda minion, and riding maps or Orchestrion rolls. The Job Mastery fireworks are also available from the event, although those come around with incarnation (you just can’t get them otherwise). Check out the full shopping list on the official site if you’ve got some holes in your collection.
