Albion Online’s next big thing, Queen, is launching on January 20th, and fans of the PvP sandbox will want to prep for this one, as Sandbox Interactive is calling it the “largest {update} since the game’s launch in 2017.”

“This update, the largest since the game’s launch in 2017, brings a complete rework of the Outlands continent, giving players of all types and levels a chance to compete and thrive in Albion’s high-level zones. Hideouts allow guilds to live and thrive in the Outlands by choosing their own place to live in the open world, and open-world territory battles, in conjunction with the new Crystal League, allow guild members of all levels to contribute to territory ownership and season rankings.”

Notably, the update adds the ancient Avalonian faction to the game. These NPCs are not at all happy that the players took their land, so they’re gonna try to take it back via new PvE content dungeons. SI is likewise promising “quality-of-life improvements” like “new cursors, player inspect hotkeys, streamlined and updated maps.” Just 13 days left to make every queen joke out there!
